His design work has been featured multiple times in such publications as Architectural Digest\, Elle Décor\, Harper’s Bazaar\, The New York Times\, Los Angeles Times and has been featured in exhibition at the Biennale Milano. Between movie projects\, Nelson designs real world projects as\narchitect/interior designer for unique residential & commercial projects. Nelson’s philanthropic work includes fund-raising\, consulting\, event organizing for numerous organizations including the Pacific Marine Mammal Center\, Laguna Art Museum and many more. \nNelson will be speaking about how he effectively uses plants and gardens in award winning film and television shows to create the mood and ambiance needed for each film. Since 2012\, he has been teaching various courses in sustainable horticulture and landscape design at Saddleback College. He has been involved in many college activities in a leading role\, such as\, curriculum\, online education and Career Technical education (CTE). Currently he is Co-chair of the CTE committee and CTE Faculty Liaison for the college.
