On November 1st, the Laguna Art Museum kicked off this year’s Art + Nature Celebration with Laguna Art Museum’s Upcycled Couture: Restoring the Future, the 2nd annual runway show combining community, creativity and environmental awareness. Inspired by the remarkable work of community and arts partners, students and early career designers created one-of-a-kind sustainable, couture designs that highlighted the many ways that LAM partners are making a difference in the community and beyond. Fashion designer Natalya Sokolenka created a stunning gown that highlights our club’s contribution to our community.It all culminated in an exciting, sustainable runway show in the galleries of Laguna Art Museum. Several of our members attended.
