Join us at our General Meeting on January 8th where author and New York Botanical Garden teacher, Marta McDowell, will give a talk entitled, “Gardening Can Be Murder!”
Marta McDowell teaches landscape history and horticulture at the New York Botanical Garden and is a popular lecturer and writer. Her latest book, Gardening Can Be Murder, is about the horticultural connections to crime fiction. Her other books include Unearthing the Secret Garden, Emily Dickinson’s Gardening Life, The World of Laura Ingalls Wilder, All the Presidents’ Gardens, and Beatrix Potter’s Gardening Life.
Join us from 9:30-10:00 a.m. for social time and refreshments, the meeting begins promptly at 10:00 a.m. Meetings are held at Laguna Presbyterian Church in Tankersley Hall located at 415 Forest Avenue, Laguna Beach, Ca. Non-members are invited to attend for free on their first visit.
