Join us at our General Meeting on May 14th where National Geographic Explorer Krystle Hickman will present our 5th Annual Good of the Hive® Lecture: “BeeSip.”
Krystle Hickman, a conservation photographer and community scientist based in Los Angeles, has a passion for nature. By elevating awareness of the decline of species of native bees, she sheds light on their biodiverse systems and documents rare native bees across the globe without using any form of lethal collecting. Hickman has presented at the 2024 United Nations Biodiversity Conference in Colombia and lectured at Harvard, UC Riverside, UCLA, and more.
Join us from 9:30-10:00 a.m. for social time and refreshments, the meeting begins promptly at 10:00 a.m. Meetings are held at Laguna Presbyterian Church in Tankersley Hall located at 415 Forest Avenue, Laguna Beach, Ca. Non-members are invited to attend for free on their first visit.
