Join us for our general meeting on Friday, September 11th and enjoy an informative presentation by Teena Spindler & Kay Havens, Creating a Legacy: The Great Park Botanical Garden.
The City of Irvine identified a 59-acre site at the Great Park (the former Marine Corps Air Station El Toro) as a Botanical Garden and accepted over 30 creative designs by Cal Poly Pomona Landscape Architecture program in May of 2020. Teena and Kay are long time UCCE Master Gardeners and instrumental in creating the Great Park Garden Coalition to build a world-class garden for generations to come.
Until further notice our monthly general meetings will be conducted as Zoom webinars. Our members will be emailed a registration link for the webinar on the Monday prior to the event.
