Every month, the President of the Board heads our general meeting and leads off with a personal message. The monthly President’s Message provides insight into the vision and goals of our club leader, who guides the organization for two terms.
The message is always informational and often inspirational, and we publish them here throughout the year.
Come to one of our regular meetings to hear the President’s Message in person! Meetings are held on the second Friday of the month, September – May, at 9:30 am in Laguna Presbyterian Church, Tankersley Hall, 415 Forest Avenue.

President’s Message, October 2022
It is hard to believe that we are already in October. I find that the older I get, the faster time seems to pass by. Be that as it may, we are approaching two things: Southern California planting season and the peak of fire year.
President’s Message, September 2022
Welcome back to our 94th year of operation! After the privations of CoVid, we have come roaring back with our most successful Gate and Garden Tour ever. We have made donations to multiple organizations in town, some of which include the replanting and maintenance of The Presbyterian Church rose garden, a vegetable garden for the residents of Glenwood House, and a pollinator garden in Bluebird Canyon Park.

I have so much for which to be grateful. It has been an amazing and wonderful honor serving as your President. Thank you for your support, for the laughter and for your many contributions to our beautiful Laguna Beach Garden Club. It is a special club with the best, warmest and most friendly people.

Happy February & Happy Valentine’s Day! My wonderful husband Bob has taken me out to dinner every Valentine’s Day since we started dating in 1982. For many years the day came with an amazing bouquet of gorgeous flowers. Since retirement and my interest in gardening, Valentine’s now includes a trip to the nursery and the gift of a special plant or pot or both!!
