The featured speaker at the September 14, 2018 monthly meeting is Debra Lee Baldwin, who will make a presentation on “Designing with Succulents.” She will feature container and landscape gardening ideas.

Ms. Baldwin grew up in Southern California and currently resides in the hills of north San Diego County.  She is very proud of the second edition of her book, “Designing with Succulents.”  Initially published in 2007, the book is credited with launching worldwide interest in succulents.  As one reviewer said, “You’ll see why she is called the ‘queen of succulents.’”

Copies of her book will be for sale after her presentation, and she’ll be happy to sign them.

Members and those interested in joining the club are welcome to attend our meetings on the second Friday of the month from Sept. – May in Tankersley Hall, Laguna Presbyterian Church, 9:30 am. The entrance to the hall is on Second St. between Forest Ave. and Mermaid St. Each meeting features a popular speaker, refreshments, plant sale and an opportunity to meet and greet members and hear club business.
