

Meeting & Speaker: Ken Lee

Join us at our General Meeting on April 11th to hear Ken Lee, Chair of the Department of Sustainable Horticulture and Landscape Design at Saddleback College speak about his work.
After working in the landscape design industry and teaching part-time for a long period of time (35+) years, he decided to pursue his passion of teaching and mentoring full time. Since 2012, he has been teaching various courses in sustainable horticulture and landscape design at Saddleback College. He has been involved in many college activities in a leading role, such as, curriculum, online education and Career Technical education (CTE). Currently he is Co-chair of the CTE committee and CTE Faculty Liaison for the college. Voted Professor of the Year, and President’s Award for Distinguished Service, as well as Angel of The Earth Award by colleagues and students.
Professor Lee earned his bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from Seoul University, Korea, in 1980 and his master’s degree in landscape architecture from Cornell University.
Professor Lee’s professional architecture projects extend from South Korea to China, to the East Coast and across California, including village revitalization, playgrounds, performing arts centers and much more.
Join us from 9:30-10:00 a.m. for social time and refreshments, the meeting begins promptly at 10:00 a.m. Meetings are held at Laguna Presbyterian Church in Tankersley Hall located at 415 Forest Avenue, Laguna Beach, Ca. Non-members are invited to attend for free on their first visit.
