Our first Open Garden Happy Hour of 2019-2020 is on Fri., Sept. 27th from 2:00 – 5:00 pm. Club members are encouraged to join us as we visit two members’ gardens — thanks to our gracious hostesses Sue Goldberger in Laguna Niguel and Shelby Rigg in Aliso Viejo. Light refreshments will be served – including wine!

There could be rain on Fri., Sept. 27 th , and heavy rain will cancel the event. So, we ask members to check their emails on Friday for any notification we send of event cancellation.

Since parking is limited at the homes, we’ll carpool from St. Catherine’s Church, 1042 Temple Terrace, Laguna Beach, departing promptly at 1:45 pm. If you wish to drive directly to the gardens, please submit the form below for addresses.

Sue’s garden used to be a Mediterranean garden, but she now says it’s “going bohemian!” It’s packed with plants – both inside and out.

Shelby’s garden sits high above the Laguna Design Center with a spectacular view of the canyon, mountains and city lights. The garden features boxwoods, ferns, azaleas, impatients, fuschias, roses, hydrangeas, tristania trees, crepe myrtle and jasmine trellises – together showcasing white and pink. Shelby also has two fountains and lots of interesting yard art.
