A group of 15 intrepid gardeners braved the chill wind and toured the Hortense Miller Garden and the Mid-Century Home on Friday, February 23. The views were spectacular: white caps, sea, and sky forever!
We were led through the gardens by our own Diane Lannon as docent and Sherry Stephens as an additional fount of information.
The gardens are mostly native and drought-tolerant plants. Many plants are blooming. There has been a ton of work done on the grounds lately and everything is beautiful.
After our tour, a few of us ate in the dining area of the home while chatting and gazing at the beautiful views.
Do not miss the Open House at the Hortense Miller Garden and Home on March 24, 2018. There should be many more plants in bloom. Bring a sack lunch and enjoy it while wandering the grounds! S.Scofield
