On April 18, 2025 the Laguna Beach Independent published an article announcing the Laguna Beach Garden Club’s 20th Annual Gate & Garden Tour.
Spring has sprung, and the garden is calling! The lengthening days and gentle warmth are the perfect invitation to join the bees and immerse ourselves in the joys of planting, thriving, and nurturing or to plan our new garden as we stroll the well-stocked shelves of our favorite nurseries.
The April 8th, 2025 issue of StuNews (Volume 17, Issue 28) profiles the featured speaker at out April 11th General Meeting, Professor Ken Lee, chair of the Department of Sustainable Horticulture and Landscape Design at Saddleback College.
On March 28, 2025, StuNews (Volume 17, Issue 26) published an article about the club’s annual Gate & Garden Tour which profiles Mike Pyle, co-host of HGTV’s Inside Out who’s home will be featured in this years tour. Pyle is a landscape designer who grew up in Laguna Beach. He has very generously donated a $10,000 gift certificate for design consultation that will be part of the raffle held on tour day.
The March 14, 2025 issue of the Laguna Beach Independent announces our March Speaker, production designer Nelson Coates, who will be speaking on the impact of plants and gardens on film.
The first day of Spring will be March 20th! Early Spring is a wonderful time to plant vegetables, refresh the soil in pots, and mulch garden beds.
Welcome! I am looking forward to our Open house, Valentine’s Day boutique, and auction sale on February 14th. I hope you can join us and bring your checkbook! I shared lots of pretty items in the boutique that I hope will be loved in your home.
The January T&T kick-started 2025 with an enthusiastic and curious crowd of 34 day-trippers touring The Ecology Center in San Juan Capistrano.
