Our 90th Birthday
Our club was formed on October 26, 1928, starting a tradition of service and community involvement. Our first projects included the planting of trees and promoting the keeping of billboards off our highways. The club’s attention grew to include garden tours and flower shows. During World War II, we turned to Victory Gardens and delivering flowers to wounded soldiers. Since then, our club has supported college scholarships, school gardens and maintenance of local gardens. We are happy to be able to make a difference in our community and we are very proud to receive this Proclamation from the City of Laguna Beach in honor of our 90th birthday.
