This year Smartscape was another success. At the September event, we raffled off two of Jeanne Yale’s succulent wreaths; they are always a big hit with the crowd. We also gave away a bunch of succulent cuttings! Thank you to all who donated. Everyone is so grateful and surprised that we give away so many cuttings. We also promoted the LBGC and the G>. Many of the guests took home our fabulous new brochures so they could learn more about us. We also sold our marvelous gloves, hats, fans, and pins.
New this year was the Jeanne demonstration and class on how to plant succulents on a hanging tube. Everyone loved the class, and each went home with a beautiful creation of their own.
