December Greetings Dear Garden Club Members. I hope everyone enjoyed a safe and Happy Thanksgiving and that you are busy preparing for the next holidays, including a new year that will allow us to meet in person at some point — hopefully soon! Come on 2021, we are so ready for you!!

Another month has flown by, Halloween is behind us, and we’re looking forward to Thanksgiving. It is my sincere hope that this message finds you and your loved ones well and happy.

Welcome, October! Autumn has arrived, and cooler temperatures are finding their way to us every passing day. And yet, Laguna Beach is not as we expect it. Many of us are spending more time in our homes than we would prefer, and we miss seeing many of our friends in-person.

It’s September already, and Laguna Beach Garden Club is ready to start a new year of exciting guest speakers, meetings, and club activities. I am thrilled and humbled to be your president for the next two years. As you know from past newsletters, my focus as president is “Education in the Garden” — supporting and providing gardening education for our members and the community.

As you know from our June newsletter, “Education in the Garden” is my focus for the club for the next two years. And, “education” and the “garden” are my personal working themes this summer.
