Another Successful Gate & Garden Tour, May 2026
On Saturday, May 2nd we held our annual Laguna Beach Gate & Garden Tour, our major fundraiser to support educational school gardens, local scholarships and community projects.
Our Gate & Garden Tour Hat Contest, May 2026
This year marked the 4th Annual Hat Contest held in conjunction with our Annual Laguna Beach Garden Club Gate & Garden Tour. We were thrilled once again have Ally Cook, milliner extraordinaire and owner of Lucky Cowboy Custom Hat Bar (@luckycowboy__), as the Chair of the tour's Hat Contest.
President’s Message, May 2026
I hope most of you remember our dynamic December speaker, Dr. Jana Johnson, who brought the Palos Verdes Blue Butterfly back from the brink of extinction. In April the board was invited to join Dr. Johnson and some of her students to release the endangered butterflies.
Grant Awarded to The Ecology Center, April 2026
The Laguna Beach Garden Club funds a $5,000 grant for the Farmer Training Program at The Ecology Center in San Juan Capistrano.
Peterson Home and Gardens, April 2026
While our visit last April was on a gray and chilly morning, this year was a perfect, sunny spring day with Daytrippers enjoying for a second time the unique experience of exploring the home and gardens of Sheila and Jimmy Peterson.
Club Funds Veteran’s Garden at LCAD, April 2026
The Laguna Beach Garden Club is proud to support creativity, community, and our veterans! LBGC presents Laguna College of Art + Design with a $5,000 donation to help build and maintain a Veteran’s Garden on their campus.
