October’s Green Thumb, hosted by Elaine Davis, found seven members working diligently painting gourds for over 3 hours. Halloween imagery was the theme and samples from the web were shared. Elaine had an endless collection of different types of paints, markers, transfer paper, and space at the tables to spread out and be comfortable and out of the sun. Perhaps the best part of the morning was being able to get to know each other better, to welcome new members and one guest.
