Welcome Back!  Our speaker series resumes at our General Meeting on September 13th with Loria Stern, a self-taught pastry chef, gardener and entrepreneur who will share the power of harnessing edible and medicinal plants to create stunning, delicious treats.

Join us at our General Meeting on May 10th to meet Jodie Cook, a landscape designer who has been creating beautiful gardens for over two decades. Jodie believes a horticultural revolution is under way which will transform the role of gardens and gardening in our society. Trained in landscape architecture, sustainable landscape design, and the watershed approach to landscaping she creates abundant gardens as rich in biodiversity as they are attractive to people.

Join us at our General Meeting on April 12th to hear our speaker Robin Jones and learn all about the magnificent monarch butterfly, including fascinating science that will astound you. See the living lifecycle up-close (with a magnifying glass), from egg to chrysalis, to butterfly. Learn how to plant a monarch garden, as well as other ways to support butterflies, even from an apartment or condo patio.

Join us at our General Meeting on March 8th to hear our speaker Alan Barry give a presentation on "The Joy of Bird Feeding".  He’ll be speaking about all aspects of the hobby, focusing on the actions you can take in your own yard to attract our local birds.

Club members and members of the public are invited to our annual Valentine Open House & Container Garden Sale on Friday, February 9th, 9:30 am - noon.

Join us at our General Meeting on January 12th to hear our speaker Brenda Kyle give a presentation titled "Inviting Natives into Your Garden."  Brenda Kyle is a Certified California Naturalist and Community Scientist who works with California native plants and whose focus is educating the public about plants, wildlife and micro-climates along the Wild-Urban Interface.

On December 8th our guest speaker Lisa D. Foster, "The Bag Lady," will talk to us about the impacts of plastic shopping bags on the environment and her quest to make a greener world one bag at a time.

Join us for our general meeting on November 10th where our guest speaker will be Jessica Viola, one of Southern California’s most sought after landscape designers whose design portfolio is based on regenerative, whole-system solutions and artistic vision.

On Oct. 20th new members are invited to attend our annual New Member Luncheon along with our Board of Directors. Get to know who’s who and what’s what!

Our October 2023 will be Caleb Finn, CEO and Founder of Circular, a social enterprise dedicated to reversing climate change and addressing food waste and insecurity through regenerative agriculture.

We kick off our 2022-2023 Speaker Series on September 8th with Krystle Hickman, native bee expert and National Geographic Explorer.

On May 12th, Kelly Griffin returns to the Laguna Beach Garden Club to speak at our general meeting on "Succulents Around the World".
